Syncovery Service not showing in Scheduler

Postby Luc23 on Fri May 27, 2016 6:12 pm

Having a weird issue. I have a relatively new install of Syncovery on my Windows 2012 R2 server and I can't seem to find the option to Stop/Sart the service. It looks like things have changes since you were using the ExtremeSync service.

https://www.syncovery.com/documentation/faq/service/

I see this stuff on this page, but maybe I already installed it and thsoe options disappear on the scheduler tab? How can I manually stop/start the service now? It doesn't show as an installed service on Windows and starts by itself as a process (SyncoveryService) once the Background Scheduler does its thing.

I'm just confused. I don't know if I didn't install the service properly or if I did, how can I stop the service if I need to do some sort of maintenance? Is End Task the only way to get it?

I think you need to change Show: Background Scheduler into Show: Service.
