Scheduling Cloud Uploads

Postby Ranjit on Tue Jul 26, 2016 1:54 am

I face a problem which i explain as below :
1. I have over 100 profiles on Syncovery, out of which 6 pertain to uploading local directories to cloud.
See picture here :

2. I give below settings of these 6 profiles which are identical.

With the settings described above, I have not been able to make these profiles start at scheduled times.
I also tried to reschedule dates and times to try to make these profiles run, but still not able.
Kindly help.
btw I must say Syncovery is best software for synchronization.
Thank you.

Scheduling Cloud Uploads

I need to correct a bit on my first post.
Please see this link :

Out of 6 profiles displayed in this link. the bottom two, which are scheduled to start at every log-on work all right. Only the top four profiles do not start as scheduled.
Sorry, my mistake, forgive me please, superflexible Sir.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I think you need to install the scheduler as a service. Please see

Also, please note that the Professional edition runs only 12 profiles at the same time. If there are 12 other jobs which are constantly busy, it may not run additional jobs. Do you think this is the case?

You can upgrade to a higher edition with more simultaneous jobs here:

superflexible Sir,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring us, the Syncovery users, among whome there are a few like me who are totally ignorant about computer hardware and software. I also have no technical staff to assist me. I use Syncovery for my various personal backups. Recently I added a few more Cloud Profiles for a few local directories. I had some problems so I came here for help. You explained all in such easy words. You posted two replies which showed your personal attention to care and help us.
However, there was some problem at my side because even after reading both links :
1. https://www.syncovery.com/documentation/faq/service/
2. https://www.syncovery.com/upgrade/
I speak on #2 first. I have purchased and licenced Syncovery. In this link you ask me to upgrade my Syncovery which I do not understand why, also you ask my 'Previous Registration Code' but I have only 'User Name' and 'Password' for my Syncovery. However, let us leave it here which you know in my following statement.
Talking of link to 'Running the scheduler as a service on Windows' I must say being a novice on technical, even after reading this link 5 times, it all went above my head with phrases like 'Network Drive' etc. because i do not have any 'Network Drive' and my concern was on 'Cloud Backup'.
After miserably failing I began experimenting by 'Hit-&-Run' method and solved my problem which now I explain. I went to 'Scheduler' Tab on main window and 'Used : Service Scheduler' while keeping my 'Background Scheduler' active. I found it was blank. So, I tried to 'Start Service' but it kept telling 'Not Active'. Then I rebooted and went back to 'Scheduler' Tab and found that all profiles showed in 'Service Scheduler'.
Now my Cloud Profiles work nicely.
I must say again, Syncovery is much more adavnced than others.
Thank you Sir.

The profiles are working perfectly.
I have two insignificant issues on which I want your comments.
1. Sometimes I format and re-install Windows XP operating device. I have always taken backup of C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Syncovery\Syncovery.ini. After creating cloud backup profiles, do I have to keep backup of any other file or only the above.
2. I insert date/time into Specify Next Run : 28/07/16 13:25 it is saved not as 13:25 but some random seconds are added to 13:25 in every profile. Can these extra seconds be removed and time be saved as 13:25:00 ? If yes, how ?
Thanks in advance.
