Profiles migration

Postby Leena_zz on Wed Aug 31, 2016 6:22 am

I have migrated from WindowXp to Windows 7.
My old computer had screen resolution 1024x768. New computer has 1280x720.
After installation, all my Syncovery windows overflow on the screen, I can not see whole screen.
All other other windows work nicely.

Sorry for the delay. The resolution should be sufficient. Make sure you don't use enlarged fonts in Windows. Can you post a screenshot or photograph of the problem?

This might help.
Syncovery windows are fixed can not be resized.
Therefore can not save/close/edit Syncovery.
Waiting for solution.

Your Windows fonts are set too large for such a small screen resolution. Please change your display settings and make sure you use the standard small font size (aka 100%).

I have poor eye sight cannot read small letters on default resolution.
I have many software and programs which I had to resize to fit on screen and now they run perfectly ok.
Only Syncovery does not window resizing feature.
Unless some solution is suggested I might be forced to uninstall.
A line in answer appreciated.

You can gain more screen space by editing the Windows Task Bar's properties and turning on Auto-Hide. The Task bar will hide when it is not needed, and you can display it by moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen.

In addition, I agree that the Syncovery windows are slightly too large for your configuration, but you can indeed access all dialog elements. I can clearly see the buttons at the bottom, and they are clickable if you click the small bit that extends above the task bar. Finally, you can grab the window's title bar and drag it a little further up. That way, you can easily access the buttons at the bottom.
