Hi, does this software support HTTPS? If it does, may I know how to configure it? do you have any sample cert that I can use?

This software is only a client, so you don't need a cert. You need to have a WebDAV server with SSL enabled and then you can access it by choosing WebDAV and specifying the URL with https prefix on the Internet dialog.

Hi SuperFlexible,
Thanks for the response, just some additional clarifications:
- Does this mean that the software is acting like a http client?
- When I access it using https as you mentioned, does this mean that all the data will be encrypted?
- How does the https transfer ensure that only your software can access that url to upload via webdav and not any others?

Hello,

yes it acts like a HTTP client. A username and password will be required, otherwise WebDAV access will usually be denied by most servers. As a WebDAV server you can use Microsoft's own IIS, for example.

HI SuperFlexible,
Thanks for quick reply.
Can it work with IIS's integrated windows authentication on Windows server 2008 R2?

Well, HTTP uses its own authentication method but I think it's based on the normal Windows user accounts.
