Can you use Individual Login/Password in Syncovery? If, How?

Postby stephanie on Sat Jan 14, 2017 10:24 am

Hi,
We are using Syncovery.

We have +400 users.

We noticed that one user was illegally given out information on our Syncovery Server to the outside.
We wanted to ban him. But the "login/password" to our Syncovery Server is the same for all users.

Is it possible to use individual login/password in Syncovery? So We can only ban this one person?

Best Regards,
Stephanie

Hello,
I think this is more of a Windows networking question. There is no such thing as a "Syncovery Server". Maybe you can tell me exactly what you mean. Are you using FTP, or whatever?

You can specify the FTP credentials on the Internet dialog in each Syncovery profile.

However the users have to be set up in the FTP server software, which is not from us. We do not have any FTP server product.
