Syncovery 7.x x64 & MS Sharepoint doc libs sync

Postby DavidMatthewson on Wed Jan 14, 2015 7:54 am

I have a problem which I think Syncovery can fix, and I’ve had a play and a look in the forum to find an answer but can’t quite find it – so perhaps you can help?

I want to pull some documents out of a MS SharePoint document library located on a server on our LAN and think a webdav connection should be able to do that, but I can’t find any documentation. Can anyone point me at some documents or FAQs?

Thanks!

Yes there are customers using Sharepoint with WebDAV. You only need to click the Internet button, choose WebDAV, and specify the server URL such as
https://xyz.yourcompany.com/de/sandbox/tobias/syncovery
or just the IP address:
https://13.123.123.123

You really need to get the correct URL from the server admin.

Some news about Syncovery and Sharepoint. So far, Syncovery only supported the OneDrive for Business part.

The new Syncovery version 7.80 now also supports Sharepoint Online sites directly. Just choose the Sharepoint protocol on the Internet Protocol Settings dialog in the profile.

You need to enter your domain, such as consono.sharepoint.com, to access the Team Site.

Additional sites can be accessed by adding the site name in brackets, like this:

consono.sharepoint.com[sitename]

Hello,

We are very happy with this feature, but I can't figure out how to syncronize subsites?

We already tried this format:
consono.sharepoint.com[sitename][subsite]

but it doesn't work. Can you help me to find the correct syntax to sync subsites?

Thank you

Hello,
it may not be possible. What is a subsite? Do you mean a library within a site?

So far, you can only access the default library for any site, which is usually the Shared Documents.

For example:

https://consono.sharepoint.com/SJO/Sales/

I need to sync the Shared Documents of the Sales site that is a under SJO site. How can I write that on Syncovery?

I tried consono.sharepoint.com[SJO][Sales] and it doesn't work

Thank you

I assume Sales is just a folder in the SJO site.

There is a separate "Folder" field on the dialog. Write the folder name there. Does that work?

It is not a folder, is a subsite that have it's own Shared Documents.

https://en.share-gate.com/blog/office-3 ... -explained

I am able to sync folders inside the SJO site, but I am not able to sync folders inside a subsite because I can't select that subsite on the "Domain" field on Syncovery, or I don't know how to do that.

Thank you
