Good morning,
I am in the process of doing an eval on syncovery to see if it will meet my specific needs. One issue that I have is low upload speeds and large data set (relatively speaking). Currently the upload that I have is sitting at 2Mbps while the amount of data I need to upload is between 250GB-400GB. At those speeds that will take up to a month to do the initial seed.
What I want to do, and what I have done in the past with other solutions, is get the initial backup performed to say a local external drive, upload that data to (Box as an example) using a faster upload connection that I have access to. Once uploaded, I'll point Syncovery to the online data set and have it use that as the initial seed, thus eliminating the need for the long initial seed.
The problem I am seeing is I don't see that Syncovery is able to do this or am I missing how it would be done? Thanks,
