File permissions

Postby garyes on Fri Jun 04, 2010 5:42 pm

Hi
We have 2 folders that other users on the PC use and they are password protected. The folders are access from their machines on a peer to peer network. The PC which stores these folders is the Main PC and all SFFS runs backups on this machine only. It cannot backup these files as they are locked. Is there anywhere in SFFS that the username & password for these folders can be entered so the backup can complete? Thanks in advance

It depends on how the password protection works. Maybe you can try with "Run As User" on the Job tab sheet, or even try using a network path to access the folders, even if they are local, and specifying the credentials under "Network Connections...".
