Speed the Sync process

Postby sdavis on Mon Dec 11, 2017 4:17 pm

I'm trying to sync the files between two NAS devices and each run of a profile seems to take forever "Building list". Right now, it's taking about a day and half to complete the process. At this point I am just trying to sync the daily changes between the two.

At this speed the cutover to the new NAS is going to be slow and tedious.

Thanks,
Shawn

The total copied is about 1.2GB of data. I'm using the real time sync options. The log states its got 500 real-time events and it does a normal full sync.

Latest results:

Short Results: INCOMPLETE: 353 copied (38.9MB) of 367, 56 moved, 5 renamed, 25 deleted, Errors with 14 File(s)
Operation completed at 2:44:16 PM on 12/11/2017
Total duration: 1 day(s) plus 09:11:45

Over a day to copy 40MB is terrible.

Please see

Right now we don't have a Remote listing Service for NAS yet but we will soon.

It may also make sense to run the job on one of the NAS devices using Syncovery for Linux.
