Which machine to install software

Hi. I have two servers I am syncing files between. I am running Syncovery 7.84a on a different server from these two.

My question is should the software be installed on one of the servers I am trying to Sync or is keeping it on a seperate machine OK? Just wondering if this has any impact on speed.

Details:

Server A - 2016 Real time sync with B
Server B - 2016 Real time sync with A
Server C - 2012 on which Syncovery is installed

All are domain joined.

Hello,
it will be faster and use less network traffic if you install it directly on one of the machines, but it is not required.
