Service Scheduler to a non-domain computer

Postby aram on Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:14 am

I've created a job to work with a non-domain computer and it works fine with the manual scheduler but when I try to run as a service nothing happens, I just says 'waiting for availability' in the Next Run field. I can manually copy and delete the files I am trying to sync so I'm not sure why the service won't run. Is it a permissions thing with the service even though I can manually copy and delete these files? Is there anything else to look for? Thanks.

Please stop and uninstall the service and when installing it again (all from within the GUI), give it a user account where you know that Windows Explorer will show the network drive without asking for the password because it remembers it.
