Upgrade to V8

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade to V8 but when I check for updates from y current v7.98q it only shows v7.98r, not V8. When will V8 available for automatic upgrade?

Also, I assume that by upgrading to V8, all my profiles will still work and I won't have to change anything on them, right?

Finally, I see there are changes on the encryption/compression feature, if I am using both of these features, is there any risk about something failing when upgraded?

Hello,

a future version 7 will be able to offer v8, but I do not know exactly when. Maybe next week. I cannot just put it in the regular automatic update because the update is not free for all users.

All profiles and jobs will still work, and nothing will change in terms of compression and encryption unless you intentionally change the settings to use the new features.

All existing jobs will work exactly the same as before.
