V5 WebDav timestamp wrong

Postby M_Meyer on Tue Jun 29, 2010 6:42 am

Hi,
Since my change from V4 to V5RC2, the WebDAV (t-online) timestamp seems to be wrong (2h too late).
Timestmap of WebDAV file shown in SFFS: 13:30
Timestmap of WebDAV file shown in explorer: 11:30 (correct)
The local file timestamp is 13:04.

Unfortunately, this causes a sync from WebDAV to my local disk (or, in lucky situations, a sync conflict), although it should sync from local disk to WebDAV...

Do I have to change my settings or is this a bug?

Thanks! I can confirm the bug. It will be fixed in the next update, probably v5.00rc3 later today.

Great, thanks!
Now it works much better...

One related question: I have already synced some WebDAV folders with rc2 (all files were copied due to the "different" timestamp). With rc3, this happens again.
Is there a way to mark the files as "identical" in the database or to change only the timestamp?
Or is this planned?

Yes you can use the SmartTracking option "Detect Unchanged Files" on the SmartTracking dialog, tab sheet Options. Then run the job manually and change the copying actions to none. Then click start so that the database is updated. Next time theoretically there should no longer be any actions for these files.

But normally this is only used for uploading, when timestamps get lost due to uploading. For downloading it might be best to just download the files once more.
