Google Docs login trouble

Postby illured on Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:55 pm

I am trying SFFS 5.00 RC2 build 58 to synchronize local documents with Google Apps Premier.

When I am creating a profile I choose Google Docs from the Internet Protocol pull-down and I enter my full e-mail address and password for the login info. When I subsequently click on the folder icon to select the folder to sync-up I get "Login failed" pop-up.

The login definitely works -- I confirmed by logging into the web interface as well as using other synchronization utilities. As SFFS offers the best set of features for what I need, I'd like to use it as soon as I can get past this login glitch.

I would appreciate any ideas.

Thank you!

Hello,

I would have to look at the Internet Protocol Log files named FTPLOG*.TXT. You can activate Internet Protocol logging on the Program Settings dialog, on the Logs tab sheet where you turn on the normal logs too. Then the log files will be in the TEMP folder which you get to by entering %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer. Run the job once to produce the error, then close the program and you will see the logs.

Before sharing such logs, please look through them and remove any confidential information such as your Google Docs email address and password.

Please send them to info@superflexible.com rather than posting them here because they are very detailed.

Addendum: it would be best to save the job even if you did not get to choose a folder, and then run it with the logging enabled.

I have installed the full software 4.97 pro but I’m unable to see Google Docs from the Internet Protocol pull-down

How do I fix this?
