I'm testing SFFS to see if it will suit my needs but I've run into a strange circumstance. On 2 separate occasions (so far) when I changed some of the files on the right side of the sync (on the other side of a VPN tunnel) the changes did not get 'noticed' and replicated back to the left side immediately. In one case it took about 40 minutes, in the other it took over 3 hours. according to
this post this has something to do with the Windows API. The suggested solution was to schedule a regular sync every few hours or so to catch these types of things. However when I try to set a scheduled run time on the job (run once every hour in particular) I get an error message: "You have chosen two scheduling options that cannot be combined. Please remove the checkmarks on the Monitoring tab sheet or on the Schedule tab sheet." I don't want to create a separate profile to run every hour as the real-time sync has dire warnings about running more than one profile on the same set of folders.
