Zip file syncing

Postby okidokee on Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:08 pm

I have a situation where I am zipping a database locally to reduce the size and transfer to another local folder. Then in a seperate profile I am attempting a one way sync of the zipped files via ftp. Transferring the files is not a problem. However, even with 'ignore timestamp altogether', I am not able to sync, each time Super Flex connects it wants to transfer ALL of the files, even if they already exist in the destination folder. Any thoughts? I am using standard copy, left to right only, no subfolders, version 5.10a

Yes, there is a solution!

To copy files which have been zipped by another profile, you have to use two checkboxes on the tab sheet Versioning->More:

"Do Not Decode Left-Hand Filenames When Building The File List"
"Do Not Decode Right-Hand Filenames When Building The File List"
