Real Time Sync not working

I have a question regarding Real Time Sync. I've created a profile that does a basic copy from left to right of 3 .txt files when they go missing on the right side. I can run the profile manually both in background and in attended/unattended modes. It will detect if any of the 3 files are missing and replace them from the left sides file store. However Real Time Sync never picks up that any files are missing. I've restarted the profile numerous times, it waits about 10 seconds, then goes into Monitoring Folders but never detects that files are missing on the right side. I can then run the profile in the background and it copies the files just fine.

Ive gone through all my settings and waited around 10 minutes to make sure there wasnt some sort of delay. Unless i run the profile manually no log files are generated even with all verbose logging on.

I do have other Real time profiles that are running fine. I'm out of ideas. If you would like any information let me know.

Real-time never monitors the destination. It detects changes on the source side and replicates them. That's all.

If you need something else, please schedule the job to run every X seconds.

Well, there might be ways to do this in real-time with the new version 6 which is currently beta. You will find it on our "additional downloads" page. You need to use the folder oriented mode: "Process Complete Folders", which is a new option on the Realtime dialog. Then the profile will compare the folders whenever an event occurs. However, to monitor the destination side, the job needs to be configured as a two-way sync with "Copy Right to Left" checked in addition to "Left to Right". Otherwise, the right-hand side will not be monitored.

Ah, that makes sense. We have been scheduling it every minute just was curious if real time was ever going to work.
