Rename files on remote after successfully download

Postby la_morte1977 on Thu Nov 10, 2011 4:03 pm

Hi

It's possible to rename the files after they are downloaded from a remote ftp site?

example: "file1.xml", "file2.xml" after successfully download should be renamed "file1.xml.ric", "file2.xml.ric" in remote folder.

best regards

No, but what's possible is to have them be moved into another folder. To do that, use the "Move Files To Destination" mode to download the files and specify a folder for deleted files on the tab sheet Files->More.

I know this option. I bought it specifically because they had that option.

At this point, for the procedures to rename the files we should thank Chilkat ftp / sftp :)

Thanks anyway
