Run After task in foreground

Postby ServerGuy on Fri Aug 05, 2011 9:55 am

Is there a way to have the run after task on a profile run in the foreground. Specifically what I'm trying to accomplish is that a profile kicks off a VBS script that interacts with the desktop. Currently when the profile kicks off on a schedule it runs the script in the background so it never really interacts with the desktop.

Not all of the profiles run like this so it would only be a select few.

Hi,

if the scheduler runs as a service, interaction is not possible.

If you use the Background Scheduler, it should be possible. But your script needs to put itself in the foreground, i.e. restore or maximize its window or whatever.
