Run profiles as soon as the drives or volumes involved becom

Postby iconbill on Sat Oct 16, 2010 10:55 am

my goal:
when connection the usb-drive to computer the profile must be started.

but it's not working, i'm unplugging the usb-drive and plugging in over and over again..nothing happens :(

And yes, i enabled 'Run profiles as soon as the drives or volumes involved become available' .
delay between access attemps: 0 minutes and 0 seconds. (it does not except any thing else)
The 'Next Run' is always saying: 'Tomorrow...' also weird.

What could be wrong with my profile?
Kind regards,

Hi,

you need to go to the Scheduler tab sheet and start the scheduler. There it should say "Waiting for Availability". Please note that it will take a short while after inserting the USB drive until the job runs.

I changed from 'Service Scheduler' to 'Background Scheduler' and now it's working!

Why is it not working in 'Service Scheduler' ?

I don't have enough details to say that. USB drives are sometimes a user-specific thing and not necessarily available to the service. In any case I would need to see a screenshot of the Scheduler tab sheet.
