Schedule profiles

Postby chrfal on Thu Feb 17, 2011 8:19 am

Here´s another question!

I have several profiles and I want to schedule them. My problem is that SuperFlexible starts all my profiles. Is there a way to choose just to schedule one of my profile?

Yes, every profile has its own scheduling settings. If all of your profiles are currently scheduled, you need to edit each one and go to the Schedule settings and remove the scheduling checkmark(s).

Our problem is that we want to have two different profiles for our users. One profile for when users are in our network and another profile for when users are outside our network. We want to lock the settings with a password so that users can´t change the settings. We want to set both profiles as scheduled but we want to be able to choose to run only one of the profiles at a time.

Is this possible?

Hello,

this is not very easy. You could use Job->Execute before/after to invoke a custom script as a "before" script and if it doesn't return 0 as exit code, the job will not be run.

Alternatively, if a network location isn't accessible, it doesn't do any harm if the job is run. It will just fail. So you don't necessarily have to prevent it.
