"Schedule this Profile" checkbox becomes unchecked

Postby rossmcm on Wed Apr 27, 2011 2:39 pm

I have a profile that I run twice daily. The scheduler is running as a service (I presume - I have two tasks ExtremeSyncService.exe and ExtremeVSS.exe which I guess are SFFS-related). The profile has the "Schedule this profile" checkbox checked. Frequently (not every time) when I edit the profile I see that this checkbox has become unchecked and my scheduled backup is no longer running. I check it again and save, and after a day or two it becomes unchecked again.

Has anyone seen this, or have an explanation?

It can happen if the program is unable to find the next scheduled time because of the Time Window settings. Can you check your settings on the tab sheet "Weekdays and Time Window"? Do you have any restrictions there?

Hi,

on the first tab sheet, you need to select:

"Run Every Day (Or Specified Weekdays) At 6 a.m."

On the second tab sheet, you need to specify only 6 p.m. as an "Additional Time".

Thank you. Hopefully that clears up that little mystery.

Best regards,
