SmartTracking details

Postby chrfal on Wed Feb 29, 2012 2:25 am

Hi

We use superflexible as a backup solution, and it works almost perfectly. We´re using Extremesyncservice in the background to synchronize files between a user's computer and our server. However, we have a little problem.

We´re using smartTracking and have noticed that smartTracking generates a large number of log files, even though we only want to keep 50. The number of log files appear to be 50 all the time, but it also creates a large number of "dump files" that are constantly increasing. Under "Application Settings" / "Logs" we have these settings: "separate log file For Each run," Number of log files to keep: 50 ", Smart Tracking Details is checked.

Has "smartTracking details" any impact on the deltasynken? Or can we skip it and uncheck the box?

Hello,

the SmartTracking details is only for trouble-shooting. You can turn it off.

Or, if you like to have these details in the log files, you can install the latest version from our web site, which will no longer do the database dumping.
