Where to install

Where is it best to install the syncovery app or does it matter.

Server or Client?? Host or Target??

I am after the best performance with least impact on resources.

Or on a third machine???

Hello,

it depends on what your jobs do. If you copy one-way, it is best to install the program on the source machine. But if you have many clients to back up, you can save licenses if you don't install it on every machine. You could install it on a server and create jobs to pull the data.

If you are doing two-ways syncs, then it doesn't matter.

Installing on a third machine, which is not part of the sync, could be much slower though.
