Windows Registry backup

Postby zprochek on Sun Feb 26, 2012 11:17 am

I wanted to backup the Windows (7 in this case) registry and received this message:

Error accessing folder: C:\Windows\System32\config\: Access is denied.

I know the directory is restricted for security but I'd assume there's a way around this?

Yes, you need to start the program by right-clicking it an choosing "Run As Administrator". If you want to use the scheduler, you need to install it as a service. Please see http://www.superflexible.com/docup.htm
